HVAC Upgrades
As part of this project, FourFront Design, Inc. engineers created construction drawings and specifications to replace two large, outdoor, custom air handlers that were functionally deficient and past their useful life.
Two new packaged rooftop units were installed with several out-of-the-box options. A 100% outside air capable energy recovery wheel provided energy efficiency during air purge cycles as part of the sequence of operation.
A sophisticated control strategy to keep humidity and odor levels to a minimum was also used. The sequence utilizes relative humidity measurement and setpoints as well as Ammonia (NH3) and Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) sensors to keep proper odor PPM levels throughout the facility.
Our professionals provided an idea of what their new HVAC system would cost to add to their facility as well as the increase in their monthly utility bills.
